John Arnot, a long-time Arlington resident, has a broad range of experience in investment management and financial planning. John joined Coble Cravens in 1983 and in 1994 he and Jerry Proter purchased the business. Over time they built it into a comprehensive financial planning, investment advisory, and employee benefits firm. For over 30 years, he has been helping business owners, families and professionals pursue their most important financial goals, which include preserving assets and increasing net worth through innovative plan design and personal investments.
In addition, John serves as a sales manager for Cetera Advisor Networks, responsible for supervising a group of registered representatives in the areas of compliance and continuing education.
John has been active in many civic and community organizations, such as Downtown Arlington Management Corporation, Young Men for Arlington, March of Dimes, Arlington Independent School District, Arlington Chamber of Commerce as well as serving on the board of North Arlington Little League. From 1993 through 1997 John was recognized by Arlington Independent School District for outstanding volunteer service as community coordinator of the Arlington Scholars program and in 1999 he was awarded the Lynn Hale Leadership in Education award*. John lives in Arlington with his wife Holli. They have two children, Andrew and Ian.
