401(K) Enrollment Specialist

Coble Cravens is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our financial planning and retirement services team. As a 401(k) Enrollment Specialist, you will be responsible for the communication, education and enrollment of retirement plan benefits and options to our clients and plan participants. You will work closely with our Financial Advisors and Client Service Associates to meet the needs of our 401(k) clients, including 401(k) plan education, actively participating in client and team meetings, scheduling and conducting enrollment appointments with clients, and ensure the necessary paperwork is filled out correctly and processed timely.
Ideal candidate must have 3+ years related experience in retirement plan services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with plan sponsors and 401(k) department to provide educational services to new and existing 401(k) client employees.
- Coordinate with participants, 401(k) department and provider to submit enrollment forms, beneficiary forms, transfer, and distribution forms.
- Work with Financial Advisors and wholesalers to discuss and review educational materials.
- Work with participants, under the supervision of the Financial Advisor, to determine potential new account opportunities.
- Coordinate the transfer of client assets to the firm during new client onboarding, working closely with the Client Services Team.
- Participate in client meetings and add value to meetings by facilitating discussions and preparing information.
- Create custom worksheets and analyses where needed to answer client questions or research investment opportunities.
- Attend and assist 401(k) enrollment meetings for clients with small businesses.
- Stay up-to-date on the adoption of new technology by client service & financial planning teams.
