Phone: 817-462-4229 N. Jerry Proter CLU, ChFC, is Chairman and CEO of Coble-Cravens Financial Services, Inc. He has been in the Financial Services and Insurance fields since 1976. His prior experience includes Systems Engineering and Business Brokerage. He received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering form Long Island University in 1968. Jerry completed courses at George Washington University concentrating on Business Administration and later attended American College where he received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations in the early 1980’s. He regularly attends Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning, sponsored by the University of Miami School of Law, and various other continuing education programs that keep him current on Estate, Income Tax, Investment, and Insurance issues. Jerry’s planning experience with family owned businesses and professionals enable him to provide insight for his clients on the best use of financial and insurance solutions to meet their goals and objectives. As a business owner, he understands the issues of having your own business and the complexities they face with key people, employee benefits, and business continuity plans. He has served as Chairman of the Travelers Life and Annuity Producer Council and on many other councils advising insurance companies and broker/dealers regarding their products and services. He and his wife Shlomit have been married 35 years and have 2 daughters, Daphne and Sharon.
